Whilst excavating the site of 15 new houses in Grange Park, St. Helens, members of the EBL team unearthed a substantial quantity of huge sandstone boulders - some of a size which would not look out of place at Stonehenge!

With the company’s commitment to ecological responsibility firmly in mind, the team loaded some of the megaliths on to a sturdy truck and took them back to EBL’s headquarters in Sutton Weaver where they were thoroughly cleaned, ridding them of millions of years of lichen and general grime. The result was a spectacular collection of ornamental rocks which could be used as the centrepiece of imaginative landscape projects.
