Pipework specialists move to EBL Centre
One of the north west of Englands leading specialists in the installation of heating, plumbing, gas and air conditioning has opted for premises at Runcorns Enterprise Business and Logistics Centre on Picow Farm Road.
WHB Building Services Limited has relocated from St Helens to take 3000 square feet of office, workshop, drawing office and storage space at the EBL Centre. The company currently employs around 35 members of staff and has recently won some enviable commercial contracts including the installation of heating, air conditioning and associated plumbing and drainage systems at the Welsh Assemblys new satellite office building in Llandudno, North Wales. Other recent contracts include major installation work at the Bluecoat Art Chambers in Liverpool, Kelloggs, Burnley FC, and at Calderstones Hospital in Lancashire.
Ian Waller, a founder-director of WHB, says: Our business was established around four years ago, operating from premises in St Helens. Such has been the growth of the company that we soon out-grew the original space and earlier this year we decided to take on a brand new 3000 square feet industrial unit at the EBL Centre, Runcorn. We predominately work within the North West, but also work nationwide, so our new location is ideal for motorway access while still being part of a rapidly growing and vibrant business community.
Edward Basnett, Chief Executive of the Halton-based EBL Group developers of the Picow Farm Road enterprise centre says: We are delighted to welcome WHB to the EBL Centre. It is a very successful company and I am sure that their new tailor-made premises will enable them to continue to grow and prosper.
